Struggling to think of something for this week's challenge, then I remembered one of the most amazing photos of cobwebs I've ever seen was taken by a colleague at DFID who visited Pakistan after the floods. He noticed the eerie sight of trees cocooned in cobwebs and took a series of wonderful photos - you can see the full set here: www.flickr.com/photos/dfid/albums/72157626301656975 What then surprised us more in the team, was that those photos went viral - each has thousands of views, some hundreds of thousands. They were seen in galleries, as backdrop to weather forecasts, and the topic of features in magazines including Nature! |
